Glen Spencer
Glen Henry Spencer (January 11, 1962 – March 19, 2022) lived a life devoted to non-profit work, first with the American Arbitration Association helping people resolve disputes and, following his own HIV diagnosis in 2002, became a devoted HIV/AIDS advocate and community leader in Phoenix with HIV Care Directions, Medicare Benefits Assistance Program, and Aunt Rita’s Foundation.
Garry “Tish Tanner” Mangum
We honor the memory of Tish Tanner (Garry Mangum), a beloved co-founder of Aunt Rita’s Foundation. Tish brought laughter and joy to the Phoenix drag scene for over two decades. Known for her dazzling performances and infectious humor, her legacy continues to inspire. Her contributions to the LGBTQ+ community and her commitment to authenticity remain at the heart of Aunt Rita’s mission.
Nicolas Boles
Nicolas was a friend and community advocate in the fight against HIV. He was more than just a colleague; he was a beacon of hope, compassion, and resilience. His dedication in raising awareness, challenging stigma, and supporting those affected by HIV was unwavering. He will be missed deeply.
Christopher Mack Hall
Chris (9/17/1966-12/20/1999) was a lifelong resident of Phoenix. He was a talented musician, both as a singer, pianist, and guitarist. He received a Master’s in Counseling from GCU and devoted his life to helping others. Chris was a dear friend to all who knew him and a cherished son & brother.
