Aunt Rita’s Programs
Normalized HIV testing is Aunt Rita’s mission. Through GetTestedAZ.org, Arizona residents over the age of 17 can receive a FREE HIV test! HIV testing can be done from the comfort of your own home with an At-Home Test Kit or by receiving a voucher to Albertsons/Safeway Pharmacies or Sonora Quest Labs. Testing is always free, easy, and confidential.
If you need additional resources our information and referral program, HIVAZ Connect, can help you find medical providers and support services near you whether you’re HIV negative or HIV positive!
Aunt Rita’s also has other programs beyond offering free HIV testing, including Education and Advocacy (to eliminate stigma surrounding HIV), as well as HIV and Aging (for long-time survivors reaching their later years).
Whether you want to learn more about testing or just have general questions about HIV, PrEP, or PEP don’t hesitate to contact us at connect@hivaz.org or 602-903-1221.
Aunt Rita’s HIV testing initiatives offer Arizonans the opportunity to get tested for free in the comfort of their own home with our Home HIV Test Kit Program or at one of nearly 100 locations throughout Arizona at your neighborhood Albertsons/Safeway Pharmacies or Sonora Quest Labs.
Aunt Rita’s promotes HIV awareness and helps to eliminate stigma through its media campaigns throughout Arizona. Through advocacy we help to create policies and legislation that will help us end HIV by 2030!
The rapidly aging HIV positive community needs specialized support and Aunt Rita’s is building programs that will enhance aging-related services to ensure that they offer this unique community services with dignity and respect.
